1/4/12- TRAIL WORK this Sunday Jan. 8th at 9AM. Meet us at Annables cabbage house where our signs are stored. Its on Amber Rd. south of Rt.20 a few driveways up on the right before the green house. We will be laying slabwood down through a wet section down in Smith Hollow along with raising the bridge to put a better foundation under it. Pass the word along because with the more hands, the faster well get done!! Thanks and see you Sunday!

12/11/11-GROOMER OPERATOR COURSE Tuesday December 13th @ Navarino firehouse at 6:00pm. Anyone who would be interested in operating one of our groomers and is not certified is asked to attend. Food will be provided and the course should last a few hours. If you have any questions feel free to call Dave Miller @ 315-247-7946 or Tim Horst @ 315-447-0271.

The photo below is our new 10' wide bridge over Ninemile on the pipeline. Wide enough for our new groomer so the pipeline is going to be as smooth as ever this year!! Big thank you to all that helped out on this project!!!

4/15/11

**Last night we made a motion to purchase another groomer to add to the club. Its a 1991 Bombardier BR 60+ with an 8' wide drag. (Photo below). It's another great addition to the club. With that being said, we have got a lot of work to do this offseason to accomedate this larger groomer.Below is a list of things that need to be done.**

  • Widen the bridge on the pipeline over ninemile to 10 foot. (This is the main project!!)
  • Widen Taylors side of smith hollow.
  • Annables side of smith hollow is getting logged so well have a wider trail
  • Slabwood after bridge in smith hollow needs to be redone.
  • Sevier woods there are a few trees marked that need to be cut.
  • Finally a couple hedgerows need to be widened.

**So looking at the list we have some work to do so keep to the website for dates as they will be posted often. Below is a photo of our new BR and misc trail work.**
